Women are out-earning men in large cities across the country.

Women are out-earning men in large cities across the country, says Reach Advisors, which crunched data from the 2008 Census. Women aged 22 to 30 without children or a husband earned 8 percent more than comparable men in the top 366 metropolitan areas. The gap is greater in New York and Atlanta, where they earn 17 and 21 percent more, respectively.
