GOOD GRIEF- If you are going to bring up an old story, get it RIGHT. We went over this last year…

a) It was "NO PANTY FRIDAY" b) The BOA who brought the house down was P.O.'d when she didn't get as big a 'bonus' as she was expecting.  She collected the post-it notes in his handwriting. c) She DID file a lawsuit but it was settled out of court and she signed a gag-order and retired d) STL WAS aware of the 'edgy' goings on in the office- but did nothing until a complaint came in- COINCIDENTALY around the same time  VanP had transitioned his book from American to Hartford and was doing dog & pony shows for other Regions encouraging others to do the same. NOW- check the time frame, this was before the Revenue Sharing secret was out, American was poking Jones to do something and- BAM! there you go.  He was fired. And then the rumor mill was started to discredit his name.

really comes down to two issues   SUPERVISION (or rather the lack there of) FAILURE TO DISCLOSE

  I am privy to a true scenario regarding Mr. Dosman...   Mr. Dosman felt he had the power to demand that an IR's partner not only leave the hotel but the Yosemite valley at a summer regional!   Several weeks or months later, we were all invited to hear John Bachman speak in SF. We were invited to bring clients for one meeting and just FA's and Boa at another meeting the same day.   Turns out Bachman was there to appease the FA and her partner, probably to avoid another lawsuit.   Then Dosman was moved out to another position not responsible for the region. What was truly ironic was that the GP/RL in that region would bring her husband (or so we thought) to all events and trips. Later we found out in fact they were never married.   Another example of the doublespeak of this company.  Spiff you appear to have integrity, get out while you still can...
