Unsung idiot:

You are wrong all the way around IDIOT.  I don't know who "IH No "i"" is, but I am not HIM, I am a HER.  And YES you bet your sweet butt that many people including me with an MBA work for Jones as BOAs and IRs.  I love my work and my clients, therefore making my job pleasurable.  I have read this forum for many months and thought I would test just to see how rude you guys are.  Wow!  You must have a miserable life outside of work!  By the way, I am not a dumbass.  How far along are you on your education?

So you have an MBA, work as a secretary, and are proud of that.  OK.  Thanks for clarifying what side of your ass you are talking out of.  If your MBA is from anywhere other some school in St Louis you are probably more qualified to run Jones than the current gestapo.  I still think you are some rabble-rouser who just says stupid stuff to get people riled up.  No "i" wannabe dumbass.

Affluent was defined as more than $100K. They also ranked Jones #1.

It is a 67 page report on our system, and is quite detailed. Many points refute claims posted arrogantly here. I like to read the facts, instead of anonymous boasts.

Another aspect of the study analyzed the number of referrals per client each firm received, and Jones was the highest here too.

Butkus, does the 100k household represent the top 20% of your book?

You calling others arrogant is comical.  Have any more press releases to share?

I have maintained since day one that the vitriol being spewed about EDJ on this board is being spewed by losers who left there because they are malcontents who moved on to their next place to fail.

They find this board by Googling the Jones name and have become an angry group of squatters.

Pay them no heed.

NASD,  what is your basis for such a comment?  I find the opposite to be true.  Those on this board that I know were very successful at Jones and are even more so now.  They simply want to share their experiences to help others avoid Jones.

This from a guy that spews garbage out of his ass on topics he knows nothing about.

Newbie, tell me who told you how to find Google? Or did you find it on your own searching for nasdr.com(another great source of "secret" information)?

I still think you should take those laxatives I suggested before.  The lights really come on when your head comes out of your ass.

$100,000 does not equal affluent by my yardstick...not even close.  Just realize that the "facts" you're reading on the company system can be just as skewed as some of the stuff you read on here attacking your firm.  It's OK to love your firm, but for your own well-being, keep your eyes open, and view everything you hear or read on both sides of the issue with a healthy degree of skepticism.

Starka said: “It’s clear that you’re happy at Jones, and that’s a good thing.  Further, I applaud you’re not criticizing those who leave for greener pastures. That said, the practice of characterizing those of us who leave as failures all the way to borderline criminal is systemic at EDJ, and that unprofessionalism is the cause of much of the criticism from those of us who have left. As to the JD Power survey, how does that translate into a positive for your business?”

I have no problem with a response or opinion like this. I have no doubt there are many successful, good brokers who have left Jones for independence and other firms. I just don't like the constant Jones-bashing on this site, and my intent has been to defend it for those who have not made up their minds. I feel sure this does not make me arrogant. On the other hand, most of the dialogue on this site is so low in quality I am sure I am arrogant regarding it. Frankly, much of it is pure garbage, and I am far above it. The moderator should be ashamed.

After reading the 67 page report by JD Power (authored by them, just viewable through the Jones system) I feel confirmation about the company I have chosen to work for and our values and business model. The report summarizes the benefits of working for the firm. One example is that Jones is reported to receive a rate of client referrals 40% higher than the industry average, and which was the highest in the survey. And prospects and clients I have mentioned the award to seem pleased.

This from Zippy the Pinhead...the broker who couldn't last more than 6 years in production at TWO firms.

What happened anyway, Put?  Did you blow through all of Dad's military connections, so he got you a cushy job in middle management where you could go on active duty retirement?

Must be nice to have a general for a Dad...kicks open a lot of doors when Sonny-Boy is a ne'er-do-well, wouldn't you say?
