actually i was thinking $50k for first year then $25K second year plus any production…

It still might be worth it if you are brand new and need the financial backing..   I just wanted to point out is wasn't risk sharing...

It still might be worth it if you are brand new and need the financial backing..   I just wanted to point out is wasn't risk sharing...[/quote]   Thanks. Yes, I'd be brand new to retail world of FA, focusing on specific viable niche, and expanding network, where I have relationships, a good base for qualified referrals as well. And yes, I'd need thefinancial backing so  Ican focus on building a book. From my perspective, it's a risk sharing arangement...I'm an unknown to them, their an unknown to me. they give some guaranteed comp..and I give up my current career.   Interestingly enough, I received this email today from the former ml.com, which is now, officially, part of boa.com it seems. This at least answers where my application is now, 3+ months after the fact.  No matter, I'm headed into a local branch sometime next week for fun sake, and to prospect the FA PDM opportunity with a smile and a handshake where possible.    For others that may have been curious about FA PMD...see below.    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Our records indicate that you recently established a career profile on the Merrill Lynch career website. Bank of America and Merrill Lynch have joined forces, and we have combined our internet career sites. Your profile from the Merrill Lynch career website has been moved to the Bank of America career website. If you submitted profiles on both the Merrill Lynch and Bank of America career sites, only one profile was maintained.

To review your Bank of America career profile, please visit our career site at (bankofamerica.com/careers etc ) There you can update your profile as necessary, and/or apply for a position that meets your qualifications and career objectives.

Please review the following instructions to access your profile:

      1.  Access the new combined careers website at
           www.bankofamerica.com/careers
      2.  Click on the "Manage Your Profile" link.
      3.  At the "Sign in" page in the User Name field, enter the email address you used when
initially creating your profile on the Merrill Lynch career site. Please note this is the
same email you used when creating your Merrill Lynch profile.
      4.  Your Passcode has been set to the following format: first letter of your first name,
first letter of your last name, 5 digit zip code you entered in your profile, followed by
           01. Your passcode should be entered in UPPER CASE. For example, if your name is
John Doe and your zip code is 28221, your new passcode would be JD2822101.

The system will automatically prompt you to change your passcode the first time you access your profile. You will also be prompted to provide two security questions and their respective answers for identification purposes in the event you forget your User Name or Passcode.

Additionally, please review the values in the following fields:
        • Would you consider relocating?
        • Total Years of Related Work Experience
        • Primary Phone indicator
So, for newbies, the above info might be useful.

yeah you are dead wrong… Basically BOA and ML are combining HR sites. So they are tellling you that your new info is set up at BOA…

Most of the time if they are interested they will get back to you in 2 week from date of application.   The resumes get forwarded to the BM. And he picks and choose who to call back

My fault I thought you were saying that was progress.

Branch managers are forwarded your resume and application within hours after it hits the system. From there it is up to the branch manager to select and call back applicants.   For example of friend of mine applied online at MSSB and hear back within 24 from the branch manager.
