Had a 2nd interview with Merrill today.  Does anyone have more info on how the comp plan works.  I know the higher the base the shorter the rope.  Do you know how bonuses work, payout, etc.  any info appreciated.

there are 3 tiers. >50k salary, 50>75k, and 75k plus. I can email the pdf to you if you message me your email.

Okay so do you negotiate your tier before you start with them? or do they just give you a bonus after you meet the requirements?

You negotiate your base within whichever of the above tiers beforehand and will know adjusted “tiers” beforehand.

Be careful CV - with the financial pressures mounting for Merrill - the rope is ‘really’ short.  I would negotiate a high salary, even if it means a short ‘ramp up’ time.

Be careful!  Higher tiers mean higher hurdles.  Also, don’t forget that if your production outperforms your salary that you get paid on the production.<?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
