I'm almost finished with my MBA and looking to leave the big corporate grind.  I've decided I want to spend my next 40 years in Colorado and in this business.

I've seen tons of info about succession planning, specifically the lack thereof.  I can understand discreetness around the subject, and am wondering how a person could insert himself into a new location and find a retiring advisor looking to do a quality job of transitioniong business and ramping a new advisor.
