Recruiting of Advisors
I am looking for advice from any person in this industry who is responsible for hiring advisors - other than proactive cold calling, relationship development, and list purchases - what other sources have been helpful in identifying great advisors? What are some out of the box methods you have used?
Sounds simple but Referrals... Taking a group of FA's to dinner (everyone loves a nice free dinner.. Especially if it isn't hosted by a vender) .. This is the Jones culture so i know it first hand.. But it would work at any other firm guaranteed.
How do you get the FA's to dinner - by calling them cold? And, do you call FA's from the same firm or different firms?
