Captrust to Acquire Shine Wealth Partners

Captrust secures its first Colorado location with Shine Wealth Partners acquisition.

Shine Wealth Partners, led by Judy Shine, joined Captrust, according to an announcement.

“The commitment to being a fiduciary is one of the many reasons why I have decided to align my firm with Captrust and believe my team and our clients will benefit greatly from the added resources we’ll have access to going forward,” said Shine.

Shine Wealth Partners is Captrust's fifth acquisition this year. It’s also Captrust's third women-led firm since 2019.

Karen Salvatore, president and senior wealth advisor, helps lead Shine Wealth Partners along with senior wealth advisors and principals Beth Cornell and Elisabeth Jacobson. Peter Vander Ploeg also serves as a senior wealth advisor.

Based in Denver, Shine Wealth Partners manages $785 million in client assets. The 21-year-old firm services individuals and families.
