Mourant, the international specialist services firm, has strengthened its private wealth management services in the Cayman Islands by appointing trust expert Indy Singh.

Mr Singh will head up Mourant Private Wealth, the firm’s private wealth management business, in Cayman, which now offers a full range of trustee services. He will take on responsibility for developing private wealth and trust business between Cayman and other jurisdictions in order to service the increasing client demand for private wealth management services in the jurisdiction.

Mr Singh joined Mourant when the firm merged with Cayman law firm, Quin and Hampson last year. "Mourant is continuing to grow its operation in Cayman and Indy’s appointment is a reflection of our commitment to the jurisdiction. The ability to offer Cayman trust services forms part of Mourant Private Wealth's continuing expansion plans and underlines our desire to offer private client, legal and tax advisors a global range of private wealth management options. There is frequently demand from clients and their advisors to use a combination of jurisdictions in their wealth management structures and we have seen a particular increase in demand for trust solutions in Cayman.
