Lindsay Sellers focuses her practice on developing and implementing estate planning techniques for high-net-worth individuals and families by utilizing a wide range of techniques including the use of revocable trusts, sales to defective grantor trusts, grantor-retained annuity trusts, qualified personal residence trusts, life insurance trusts, and the creation of family limited partnerships and limited liability companies. Ms. Sellers works with clients to create private family foundations and public charitable organizations, as well as obtaining confirmation of their tax-exempt status from the IRS. Ms. Sellers also has extensive experience with complex estate and trust administration, including dispute litigation and mediation involving trust and estate beneficiaries and fiduciaries. Prior to joining Venable LLP, Ms. Sellers was an estate planning attorney in New York City for six years. She is admitted to the bars of New York and California.
