With Laserfiche Direct Share, one of the newest innovations in the Laserfiche platform, advisors can share files more securely with external parties directly from their Laserfiche repositories, in an audited and tracked manner. Going beyond commonly used cloud storage and share solutions, Laserfiche Direct Share enables organizations to maintain visibility and control over content, supporting security and compliance requirements when sharing sensitive documents such as new account opening documentation and contracts. Recipients receive a unique and anonymized URL to access the files for a limited period of time. Advisors can add passwords and specify URL expiration dates; additionally, senders receive notifications when content is viewed, and they or a repository administrator can see who shared it, with whom, and when it was accessed.
