Invest in Others Awards Virtual Campaign
Due to COVID-19, the Invest in Others Charitable Foundation (IiO) canceled the 2020 Awards Gala, its annual, high-profile event honoring financial advisors’ charitable efforts, which helps expand program awareness and attract new supporters.
To fill this vacuum, JConnelly transformed the gala into a months-long digital campaign, culminating in a virtual IiO Awards Week.
As part of the larger campaign, digital content was released in the preceding months leading up to Awards Week through IiO’s social platforms, to generate engagement and increase audience attendance.
During Awards Week, individual categories were celebrated each day. Related content was published starting in the morning and concluding with a late-afternoon, hosted broadcast, presenting moving stories of the finalists’ charitable efforts and ending with the winner announcement and acceptance.
