Gerber Kawasaki Diversity and Inclusion Campaign
It’s no secret that the financial advice industry is dominated by white men, who account for nearly 80 percent of all advisors. To help Gerber Kawasaki better serve the broader investing public, align its work with its core values and make sure its public profile reflects its headquarters of Los Angeles – one of the most diverse metros in the country – Haven Tower created a diversity and inclusion campaign for the firm.
This effort included generating media opportunities for professionals beyond founder Ross Gerber, many of whom represent demographic groups traditionally neglected by financial services, including minorities, women, millennials and the LBGT community. It also meant touting the work of the firm’s various groups, including those focused on working with women and LGBT individuals.
