COVID-19 Response Campaign
When the world went into lockdown in the Spring of 2020, investment advisers were reeling. While advisers were transitioning to work-from-home, major initiative deadlines loomed large, namely, most firms’ annual updating amendments and the first-ever Form CRS. MarketCounsel Consulting launched an aggressive telephone campaign to contact every single client and ensure that they were able to meet each of these deadlines, despite the pandemic’s disruption. As the pandemic continued, MarketCounsel maintained dialogue with federal and state regulators and worked with its clients to assess registration, notice filing and disclosure requirements given the changed landscape of a remote workforce.
