Impact Reporting
In 2020, Ethic significantly expanded its impact reporting capabilities, aimed at providing advisors and their clients with deeper insight as to how their portfolios are affecting a variety of sustainability issues. Ethic now reports on metrics across 19 different causes—including climate change, women’s rights, education, racial justice, health and wellness, immigration justice, and more. The tangible examples in Ethic’s visually appealing reporting make it easy for clients to understand the impact that their investments are having on their chosen causes—expressed, for example, as the number of trash bags filled with hazardous waste that have not been generated, the number of scuba tanks filled with clean air that have been preserved, or the equivalent number of miles not driven, as a result of their investments.
