New Tools and Features
Recently, we unveiled initiatives/tools to help advisors better serve their clients: Launched an API library to help power firms’ planning experiences. These APIs, displayed outside of the MoneyGuide platform, show the results of a client’s financial plan, and allow an advisor or client to interact with their plan. Launched My Plan Builder, a new category of six blocks to MyBlocks that can serve as an on-ramp to planning for advisors and clients. Forged an exclusive partnership with Healthpilot, a digital engagement platform simplifying the Medicare health insurance plan selection and enrollment process, enabling financial advisors to help plan for health insurance coverage for clients in or nearing retirement. Acquired technology from Apprise Labs, adding cash flow and advanced estate planning capabilities.

ESG Due Diligence Framework
To give advisors and their clients a roadmap for making ESG investment decisions amid increased interest in sustainable investing, Envestnet | PMC developed a multi-factor ESG due diligence process for evaluating ESG strategies available on the Envestnet platform. ESG strategies are identified by Envestnet | PMC using third-party data sourced from Morningstar. This additional layer of analysis is used to uncover high-conviction equity & fixed income managers that are meaningfully and systematically integrating ESG into the investment process. Information on key areas (governance of ESG, ESG integration into the investment process, reporting on impact and engagement on ESG issues) is collected from managers through a questionnaire and ongoing conversations with investment teams. These insights are evaluated and scored using specific, detailed criteria across those areas.


Insurance Exchange
The Envestnet Insurance Exchange (Exchange), powered by Fiduciary Exchange, LLC (FIDx), provides end-to-end management of annuity solutions through SSO integration with the Envestnet platform. The technical and feature enhancements advisors receive through its expanded variable annuity program upgrade include: Product access beyond variable annuities, including multi-year guarantee products (MYGA) fixed-indexed (FIA), and registered indexed (RILA) vehicles encompassing both commission- and fee-based annuities Financial planning – analyzing annuity strategies within a client’s financial plan via SSO access to the Exchange platform Licensing and appointment checks helping to ensure applications are in good order Research annuity products available through the Exchange, including rates and performance and a tool assessing each annuity under investment consideration through illustrations and side by side comparisons Consolidated proposal capabilities Active annuity management

Fully Vested Brand Campaign
Envestnet’s “Fully Vested” omnichannel brand campaign kicked off in September 2021, delivering on its mission to empower financial advisors and professionals with its always-on financial wellness ecosystem to help deliver The Intelligent Financial Life™ for their clients. The campaign, developed in partnership with the creative advertising agency HeyLet’sGo, anchors around cross-generation stories designed to show the complexity of an individual’s financial life, and how advisors and technology can help. These journeys, connecting the digital and human components of the Intelligent Financial Life, are shared through a variety of innovative and creative media. The campaign spans across multi digital channels including online video, out-of-home (OOH) advertising, social media , and connected TV. During the pandemic, Envestnet tested digital ad placements in New York City’s Financial District.

The Big Reveal Podcast Series
This PODCAST SERIES, produced by Suzanne Siracuse and Envestnet, provides a unique peek into the human side of some the industry’s leaders, innovators and influencers. Launched in Sept of 2020, Suzanne leads lively discussions, that not only focus on the guests personal and professional journeys, but also incorporates their perspectives on topical news items effecting the wealth management industry with a special focus on technology, marketing, human capital and investment trends, DEI, and Leadership best practices. And, at the end of each episode, Suzanne dives deep to have her guests share something they’ve never revealed before, hence the title, The Big Reveal.
