Andes Wealth Technologies is the first company to combine behavioral finance with risk visualization to provide a new way to deliver wealth management. Winning the 2021 WealthManagement.com Industry Award in Risk Tolerance/Client Profiling was a great honor and significant milestone for the company--thank you! Since then, we have received wider industry recognitions: - Winner, 2022 WealthTech Americas Award in Thought Leadership - Winner, 2022 Family Wealth Report Award in Onboarding (to be announced on May 4th) - Finalist, 2021 MMI/Barron’s Industry Award in Disruption (along with Franklin Templeton and Envestnet). Inspired by Dr. Andrew Lo from MIT and his Adaptive Markets Theory that reconciles behavioral finance with efficient markets, the Andes Wealth Platform is the differentiation that the industry has been looking for. Helen Yang, CFA, founder and CEO, shared the Harry Markowitz Award with Dr. Lo in 2011.

Client Onboarding Platform
A winner of the 2022 Family Wealth Report Award in the onboarding category, the Andes Wealth Platform moves clients seamlessly from risk tolerance assessment to portfolio analysis, proposal generation, Investment Policy Statement (IPS), and account opening. Our best-of-breed modules are seamlessly integrated. The winner of the 2021 Wealthies Award in Risk Tolerance/Client Profiling, we were also a finalist in portfolio analytics. This past year, we made significant enhancements in portfolio analysis and proposal generation, including: optimizing the efficient frontier visualization for better clarity, developing an algorithm to assign asset allocation incorporating risk tolerance and capacity, and producing an investment proposal report. We continue to receive rave reviews for our IPS generator, and have been continuing to improve it based on client feedback.

Deep Analytic Visualizations
We invented deep analytics to illustrate the ever-changing risk and return relationship to help financial advisors deliver unprecedented clarity and transparency, during new client onboarding, and ongoing client engagement especially during market turmoil. A proud finalist in 2021–thank you–we have made numerous enhancements since, including: – Optimized the efficient frontier visualization for prospects and existing clients, respectively. – Added performance attribution for models and portfolios, a powerful troubleshooter. – Added charts to Risk Tolerance Test to assist post-assessment discussion: drawdown chart (peak-to-trough decline) to show the consequence of taking risk, growth-of-$1 chart to show the consequence of not taking risk, and a 10-year chart to show longer-term outcomes. Using strikingly intuitive visualizations, it delivers real insights that you can’t get from CNBC and Yahoo! Finance.

Personalized Risk Tolerance Assessment
As the defending champion of this category, we have been continuing to enhance our award-winning solution and provide thought leadership. For Risk Tolerance Test, in addition to being the most direct, intuitive and defensive tool, it can now be personalized for each household. For example, an advisor can assign an ESG model set to a household, which will be used to drive the Risk Tolerance Test, so the investor’s choice maps directly to one of the ESG models. For behavioral finance, we filed a patent with the US Patent and Trademark Office on July 21, 2021. In an article, The Next Generation of Risk Measurement Methodology, we proposed a four dimensional risk framework that can be considered the industry standard. Bob Veres called it magisterial.
