In his executive management role as CTO, John Reinhardt drives the strategic direction and management of the information technology functions of Atria and its six subsidiary broker-dealers. He is responsible for designing and implementing the processes and controls that protect the financial data of nearly 2,500 financial professionals, 200 financial institutions, and 500 home office employees across six home office locations.
In 2021, Atria broke the mold for B2B marketing with a new campaign that leveraged the convenience and popularity of QR codes—to introduce bank executives to the firm’s “piggyback” solution, which offers banks the ability to keep their existing brand and broker-dealer and “piggyback” on the strengths of Atria’s bank-focused subsidiary. The campaign included the mailing of a physical copy of the popular Cramer Fintech Directory, with a custom book dust cover, sent to a very targeted niche of 47 banks in total. The dust cover was personalized with the name of each recipient institution and designed to resemble a bestselling business title, motivating recipients to discover more about the firm’s unprecedented “piggyback” solution.
