Independent broker/dealer NFP Advisor Services Group has tapped Dan Schwamb as its senior vice president of business development. Schwamb joins NFP from LPL Financial, where he served as vice president of business development and recruited more than 240 advisors to the firm.

David Lynn, global head of investment strategy and research at Clarion Partners, has joined Cole Real Estate Investments as executive vice president and chief investment strategist. Lynn will be responsible for portfolio investment and management strategies, capital market analysis and economic research.

Fiduciary education provider fi360 has hired Jaleen Edwards as senior vice president of marketing. Edwards previously served as managing director at the Financial Planning Association. In the new role, she’ll be responsible for planning and executing strategies and campaigns, business development, market research, and client relations.

Financial advisor Kevin Robertson has joined Merrill Lynch in Portland, Ore. Robertson, who moved over from Piper Jaffrey, has $588 million in assets and trailing-12 production of $1 million
