$3.75 Billion Team Leaves Wells Fargo FiNet to Create RIA Mayflower Advisors

After 15 years with Wells Fargo, the team, led by Lawrence and Lloyd Glazer and Steven Dimitriou, has started its own RIA.

A Boston-based advisor team with $3.75 billion in client assets has left Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network after 15 years with the broker/dealer to launch its own registered investment advisor firm.

Managing partners and co-founders Lloyd Glazer, Lawrence Glazer and Steven Dimitriou, along with their 35-member team, have created Mayflower Advisors, according to a Wednesday announcement.

"Steve, Larry and I have worked together since 1999 and opened our first office back in 2002. Mayflower Advisors has always been rooted in relationships,” said Lloyd, in a statement. “We view this Mayflower team and our three generations of clients as family, and it's a privilege to help our clients meet their long-term goals—in both good times and challenging ones like we've seen this past year."

Mayflower Advisors will continue to provide private wealth management, retirement plan consulting, and foundation and endowment advisory services, according to the announcement.

Mayflower Advisors chose Pershing as its primary custodian and broker/dealer for advisory assets. Private Client Services will be Mayflower’s b/d. Fusion Financial Partners will provide a technology and operations infrastructure along with services and products for capital and insurance.
