Snowden Lane Adds Advisory Duo

The advisors are leaving Wells Fargo, where they advised $126 million in client assets.

Castleberry Advisory Group, run by Keary Castleberry and Lara Sterns, joined Snowden Lane Partners’s San Antonio office, according to the wealth management firm. The duo is leaving Wells Fargo, where they advised $126 million in client assets.

“This is a tremendous opportunity for our clients and we are thrilled to be a part of an independent firm that empowers its advisors,” said Castleberry, who has over two decades of wealth management experience. In 2013, he was joined in his practice by Sterns, a San Antonio native with over 30 years of financial services experience. Castleberry Advisory Group will work with Snowden Lane’s existing local teams, including Hogan Eller Group and the office’s founding advisors, Strategic Management Group. The local office opened just last year.

Snowden Lane is an advisor-owned hybrid RIA/broker-dealer founded in 2011. After Focus Financial’s IPO earlier this summer, some have pointed to firms like Snowden Lane as potential high-growth firms.
