New Jersey Team Aligns With LPL Strategic Wealth Services

The newly established River's Edge Wealth Partners, with about $500 million in client assets, is led by advisors joining LPL from Wells Fargo.

A New Jersey-based financial advisory team with about $500 million in AUM is launching a new independent practice that will affiliate with LPL Strategic Wealth Services, the firm announced.

Led by financial advisor Anthony “Tony” Frigoletto, the newly named River’s Edge Wealth Partners comes to LPL from Wells Fargo. Based in Red Bank, N.J., Frigoletto will be joined by financial advisor Jayeeta Choudhury as vice president, Nicole Adler-Frigoletto as director of planning, and three additional support staff. Frigoletto said the move would let him operate his team as a family office for clients.

“LPL’s new affiliation model really appealed to me. It allows me to be an independent advisor but solves for the business operational needs,” he said. “This is the lean-in, straightforward approach I was looking for, and it allows me to utilize my strengths to lead our team and cultivate meaningful relationships with our clients.”

With LPL Strategic Wealth Services, the nascent firm will get back-office support and tech offerings, as well as help with sourcing real estate, brand support and transitioning onto the LPL platform. The support team at LPL includes administrative services, marketing support as well as a customer care team the firm can rely upon. The River’s Edge team works with numerous clients, including doctors, small business owners and families, offering financial planning, investment management and philanthropic guidance to steer clients in a positive direction for retirement.

Rich Steinmeier, LPL Financial’s managing director and divisional president for business development, said Frigoletto and his team had invested years in developing relationships with clients.

“As they begin on an exciting new journey with LPL, we will be with them every step of the way, from walking into their new office and launching their start-up to supporting them with dedicated partners managing business operations,” he said. “They’ll also have access to broader investment options, improved technology and differentiated service experience.”

LPL Strategic Wealth Services officially launched in April, and is intended for regional and wirehouse advisors with high production, that manage more than $200 million in assets, and want freedom and control over their business while keeping assistance with business operations. LPL Strategic Wealth Services co-head Kim Sanders was recently named one of WealthManagement.com's Ten to Watch for 2021.
