Cerity Partners Merges With $3 Billion AUM RIA EMM Wealth

Chicago-based Cerity Partners has merged with New York-based RIA EMM Wealth.

Cerity Partners, a Chicago independent financial advisory firm, has merged with $3 billion AUM registered investment advisor EMM Wealth.

With the addition of New York-based EMM, Cerity now manages about $26 billion. 

EMM, which is led by co-CEOs Lloyd Abramowitz and David Aaron and CFO Thomas O’Brien, has 36 employees who provide investment advisory, tax and financial planning, trust and estate planning, and philanthropic planning services. EMM also offers clients family office services, trust and fiduciary advisement, family governance, and next-gen education. 

As of Jan. 1, EMM has taken on Cerity Partners’ name and branding.

Cerity Partners was founded in 2009 and operates under a private partnership model.
