Eight Leadership Lessons From Frank Perdue

Charisma is one of the most important ingredients of leadership. Luckily, it can be learned.

Having people want to follow your lead is the essence of leadership, and this is true whether it’s for yourself or for your clients.

To develop the charisma that makes people want to follow you, remember, the best leaders give people a better vision of themselves. Having folks see things your way and having them be willing to go the extra mile for you is one of the most valuable skills that you or your clients can learn.

My husband, Frank Perdue, was a master of the skills that influenced people to follow his lead. It was these charisma skills that helped him grow a small chicken farm on Maryland’s Eastern Shore to a company that today sells its products in more than 50 countries.

The good news is, these skills can be learned.
