I'm a newbie to the forum- also an IT guy, not an investment pro.  I'm pursuing a new venture building a decision support tool for brokers and money managers, and wanting to know if one or a hundred people have gotten there first.  The idea is a simple one- use data analysis to find 'bellweather' clients, who have a demonstrated excellent track record buying low and selling high, then surface anonymous info into a decision support tool for the money manager (eg, 90% of the bellweather clients in our database of thousands of clients are selling blue chips, or AAPL..).  Individual client privacy protected by the system.  Any thoughts on this?  Does it exist now, and are people using a system like it?  If not, should it exist?

Thanks!

Bob
