Everyone’s heard them.  They’ve been denied but what does that mean?  SF has a very compact management structure which would mean lots of “middle managers” will get the boot along with the entire marketing/product areas.  Bank Atlantic is rumored to be suffering under the weight of a huge problem loan and is a really hurry to raise some cash.  Wachovia is also a strong rumor but the median production at RB is @ 225 which would mean half the FA’s will be toast.
