Sounds like you need to be indy. AXA, MET, ML are looking for sheep to sell their crap.

What state are you in?  What size of book did you build at TD, any chance of moving any assets or are they owned by TD?

There's no real building a book at TD.  You talk to people that call in.  There were sales targets, but for the most part you were talking to new people all the time.  So, no book.

I'm in Texas.

If you're near the Texas call center, you aren't that far from the HD Vest home office which is apparently home to many TD departees. Ameritrade as an entire firm is a joke. You should call Bill Singer at brokeandbroker.com and see what he thinks about the U5. Other than that, indy or a staff type role...

LPL, Rayjay, BrokerXpress, HD Vest, etc. No shortage of indy. You'd be well advised to delete your posts today if possible if actually engaged in any suit.

Well, shit.  There doesn't appear to be a way to delete.  Can a mod do it?
