Wondering what the pros and cons are with both. Wonder why RJA cant seem to gain any market share traction? ARS settlement or lack thereof?

If you go to jones you can win the “Golden Shovel”

RJA:
- 40-45% payout
- Bonus eligibility
- Insurance
- SA paid for
- Typically more FA's (traditional "brokerage firm" feeling)
- Nice office space
- FA's don't have to worry about tedious day-to-day tasks necessary to keep the office up and running
- YOU own your book of business (both RJA and RJFS)
RJFS:
- Much higher payout (90%)
- Essentially own/run your own business
- On your own for:
- Office Space/supplies/equiptment, etc.
- Insurance
- SA
- Charged for each trade (can be a negative if you manage a lot of discretionary accounts/do a lot of trading)
These are just a few of the basic differences. I'm sure there are more, just can't think of them right now.
