I am considering leaving AGE/WB for either UBS or MS and their rising star program.  Anybody have any feedback on the rising star program?  I am especially interested in people who have made the switch from AGE.

At MS they recruit you by flying you to corporate in NY, wining and dining you, and then taking you to strip clubs...

Oh wait... Uh... That was so 3 years ago... I have no clue...

Let's see, how does it go....they blow all kinds of smoke up your butt and telling you how much they are going to grow your book. The manager lays on the charm and promises everything only to back down "because Corp. says we can't do it that way....". He then moves onto next recriut after you sign on the doted line, enslaving yourself for thte next 9 years. They promise gobs of $$ and then bend you over if you don't grow @ 25-30% in your first year. 200% isn't 200%. It's some upfront, lots backend loaded. Wait to see what the WB/AGE deal is first. It isn't always greener over there.

24 mo – Increase Production by 25% : 20% of Current T12 (Uncapped)

36 mo - Increase Production by 50% : 20% of Current T12 (Uncapped)

60 mo - Increase Production by 100% : 20% of Current T12 (Uncapped)

If you currently work at Merrill Lynch, Smith Barney, or UBS- they offer is outstanding… MS is poaching FA"s from these firms by ‘paying up’ to get good talent… If you look at any of the trade pub’s in the “Comings and Goings” section, MS is recruiting by FAR the most FA’s right now…

For those that aren't thinking this is a good deal with AGE - consider this:

I am a recruiter and representative for Polar Investment Counsel, Inc. an independent full service broker dealer / advisory.

Our chairman worked with AGE from 1989-1995 and then left to set up his own BD.  During that time, he was a Chairman's counsel level producer and at the time of his leaving in 1995, he was by far their top producer in managed futures at the firm.

For all those who are thinking this deal isn't what it's cracked up to be, please check out our website www.icebear1.com.  We offer an 85% - 90% payout, currently our clearing ticket charges are $16 for equity, $10 + .75 cents for options.

We welcome the opportunity to talk to anyone who wants to be an owner and not an employee.
