Will You Help Me With My Next Film? ...a request from Michael Moore
February 11, 2009
Friends,I am in the middle of shooting my next movie and I am looking for a few brave people who work on Wall Street or in the financial industry to come forward and share with me what they know. Based on those who have already contacted me, I believe there are a number of you who know "the real deal" about the abuses that have been happening. You have information that the American people need to hear. I am humbly asking you for a moment of courage, to be a hero and help me expose the biggest swindle in American history.
All correspondence with me will be kept confidential. Your identity will be protected and you will decide to what extent you wish to participate in telling the greatest crime story ever told.
The important thing here is for you to step up as an American and do your duty of shedding some light on this financial collapse. A few good people have already come forward, which leads me to believe there are many more of you out there who know what's going on. Here's your chance to let your fellow citizens in on the truth.
If you have any info that would help, please contact me at my private email address: [email protected].
For the rest of you on my email list who don't work in the financial industry, you're probably wondering, "What the heck is this all about? I thought he said he was making a romantic comedy!"
Well, I just can't say much right now. I'm sure you can understand why. One thing I can tell you is that you're gonna like this movie when I'm done with it. Oh, yeah...
So, again, if you work for a bank, a brokerage firm or an insurance company -- or if you have seen things or heard things that you believe the American people have a right to know -- please contact me at [email protected].
Thank you in advance for your help!
Yours,
Michael Moore

maybe I should tell Michael how EDJ reps raised the money to feed the frenzy by selling structured notes to their clients
Wonder if he’ll spend any time on this board to get material for his film!
Be careful
Let me get this straight. You interview us, make a movie about all the excesses of Wall Street. Rip apart our retention bonuses? No way
there would be not one iota of fact in this ‘movie’. he is a socialist that misconstues the truth for his own benefit.
that said, he is likely one of obama's closest allies[quote=go_huskies]there would be not one iota of fact in this ‘movie’. he is a socialist that misconstues the truth for his own benefit.

I could easily roast this industry using only facts. He will have a hard time making things up when there is so much truth that will scewer the industry.
So much he material he could use, depends what angle he wants to take. How about that 99.9% of a brokers "ideas" come on the last day of production?
I think it would be hillarious for him to get someone undercover in Jones’ training sessions. Hamburger…doorknocking…I may send him a note.
the biggest concern might be how his film will affect all of us and our position of trust in the community and with our clients.

No Shit that is my concern. More bad news associated with our field the better… HA I can see years of reassuring clients I am not part of a Ponzi Scheme, No I didn’t sell CDO’s, Nope I don’t agree with buying Indexed annuities… and all other similar BS that has plagued our industry for the past few years.
Great now I am depressed again… it feels like its October all over again… When will this end!

Is it Indexed Annuities that have plagued the industry or is it the losses that have been sustained in the stock market? Your comment was very, very, very naive.

Miss J - not to beat a dead horse - but you ARE part of a Ponzi Scheme, take from the middle class, funnel to the GP’s - sorry I couldn’t resist. Please don’t start the bad stuff again.
I was thinking of calling Michael Moore up and seeing if he'll talk to me. I'll tell him I'll talk about big bad brokerage firms and how horrible Jones is - and then when he shows up, I can smash his fat face! As much as I don't like Jones - I wouldn't sell them out to that piece of crap!Michael Moore should just come up with a quick movie on businesses/industries that he doesn’t hate. It would be much more efficient.

He seems to like foods and restaurants.

He does, but you know he probably thinks it’s their fault that he’s fat
