Hi , just curious as to how bank brokers would allocate time if they are given multiple branches to cover. Since I am only used to covering one large branch, i will now cover 4, smaller branches. I have set up aa schedule where I will spend my entire week at only 2 branches that are the largest, and the other 2 via appointment only. Does this sound like something that could work, or if you bank brokers can share what you do, would be great..

thanks

I have too many branches right now (10) that hopefully will be cut down, but I will share with you what I do.

I spend Monday's, Tuesday's, and Friday's floating in 5 of them that are geographically close and are all good referring branches.  I spend Wednesday's split with 3 others, and Thursday's at the remaining two.

The bottom line is you have to be where the business is.  If you spend the same amount of time on a "bad" branch as a good one, you're missing out on revenue.

I spend 2 days at my busiest branch and 1.5 days at the other two. Do NOT waste time driving around, while prospects prefer to have you available anytime if you build your business driving from branch to branch you will do that forever. Everyone knows my schedule prospects and clients and they repsect it. You would be suprised how many doctors work out of multiple branches, you don’t see them driving around town.

Bingo, just post up a schedule of office hours along with a notice, that you are available by appointment as well.

Cool, thanks guys. wow, 10 branches! I could not even imagine that. What I plan to do now is stay 3 days out of one branch, and 2 days at the second busiest branch, and keep the next 2 via appt only. Thanks for the help

What I do is that we have a shared schedule system (lotus notes) my platform people just schedule me when there is availability and as I tell them.. I will just appear like a genie from a bottle.. I did the whole driving around like a wholesaler and you lose a lot of time you could be working your book... just my 2 cents ..good luck
