Does anyone know which firms handle overseas accounts? My firm is having troubles with Cayman Islands and is in the process of shutting off a large portion of my business.

I am a top producer (1 million plus) , and currently work in a large brokerage. I have never moved firms before and really have no idea what my options are. I do think it's going to have to be another large firm, but just wanted a general consensus.

Thanks

I'd open a PO Box, and send a well written letter to a number of firms, asking for a proposal on an anonymous basis. Also, doing a bunch of key word searches on Google about the types of biz you do as well. Or, you could be lazy, and contact a head hunter. You have the kind of production that will have them roll out the red carpet, shower you with checks. There may even be indy firms that are up to it, both LPL and Raymond James are big enough these days to warrant that kind of thing. Good luck.
