Great news, the FDIC is 8 billion in the red. For you morons that don’t know what that means:
In the red = NEGATIVE
fantastic news go buy some stocks…call you best clients first…they’re these easiest trades
Do you have an article or a source for this revelation. I’m not doubting you, I’d just like to see it for myself. Last I heard FDIC had enough reserves to cover something like $.22 of every dollar in the banks. This $8 B in the red would be even better.

WASHINGTON, Nov 24 (Reuters) - The U.S. government
insurance fund used to safeguard bank deposits dropped to a
balance of negative $8.2 billion in the third quarter, the
first time since 1992 that it had a negative balance, the
Federal Deposit Insurance Corp said on Tuesday.

To be fair, you should really post the entire article.

Last time was 1992 huh? Wasn’t that followed by a tremendous rally?
1992 unemployment was 7.8 %
there were not 2 of 10 mortgages in default
there was not a glut of foreclosed homes hitting the mkt every day
the gov. wasn't printing money and keeping the major money center banks on life support
Major 100 year old firms didn't fail
big three auto companies didn't file bankruptcy
etc.etc.
So if you get sick and have 102 degree fever you can say I soon got better and was back to normal, but when you have a fever, heart condition, brain tumor, ms, typhoid fever, vd, hiv, broken leg, cancer, lupus etc.etc...then it's not anywhere the same
Nice try though ...way to put the famous CNBC positive spin on it!

Twain,
You ever watch a college football game where a team that is not ranked and they’re kinda had a sh*tty season but that happen to beat a better team. When they show the fans they are holding up their finger saying # 1.
They , just like you , need to get back to reality

Can you lay out the specific circumstances from 1992 that led to the FDIC loss?
Last time was 1992 huh? Wasn’t that followed by a tremendous rally?
no, but you’re more than welcome to look it up yourself . I hear the internet is a great source of information
i have to agree with boss. plus we have had a 60%+ rally, how much more can the mkt go up given the weak economy…mkt is no longer cheap.
