Because Edward Jones Secrets Revealed, Part II was such a viewed topic I thought I would save part III for some good stuff on Jones.

When I went to Greece, Tahiti, Italy, Brazil, Germany, France, New Zealand, Maui, Monaco and Japan MARITZ always had a hand in helping plan the extra-curricular events.  They would hook up with local travel agents and then sell the EDJ IR a package that was 3 times more expensive than if you booked it yourself.

I could never believe that Maritz had the best interests of the IR.  I truly believe that Maritz revenue shares with Edward Jones.

Oh, Spiked. Didn’t i read on another thread that you were escorted out of your office by a fsd… What’s a (an) fsd anyway?

Spiked-

EDJ rev shares with anyone that will pay them. If I were them I would ask the home office toilet paper supplier to kickback some green. Just think of the possibilities.

Anyone want a wager there is a GP in charge of kickbacks!

Spiked,

I normally would let a moron like you continue to make a fool out of yourself, but I'm bored tonight and thought a hammer down would make me feel better.

First, I'm sure France was your favorite trip because it allowed you to visit all your relatives and finally find some other people that agree with your values.

I hope you enjoy your new indy firm.  I just hope those index annuities you sling don't come back to haunt you someday.  If you were unethical at Jones, I doubt things will change now that you have even higher commissionable products and even less oversight as an indy.  Remember that Karma comes around.

Less oversight as indy?  Where are you getting that from?  I have more supervision/compliance as an indy then I ever did at Jones.

Compliance is compliance.  Every firm oversees the reps regardless of their structure.  The difference is going to be how streamlined the process is.

So I see the reputation I have in these forums.  Let me set the record straight, AGAIN!  I was a $500,000+ producer at Jones and the make up of my business was 23% Managed Account Program, 41% Mutual Funds.  10% Fixed UIT's. 10% Life and LTC.  10% Stock.  6% Annuities.

I started New/New and in 8 years built it up to $52 million.  I have taken $30 million from my Jones office in 12 weeks.  There will be another $4 million coming over in the next 4 weeks.

As for the FSD, never had a problem with them.  In fact, because most of my business was Managed Accounts I had 1 FSPEND wire in 7 months before I left.  I also have never sold an indexed annuity and don't plan to.  I pretty much have embraced the Managed Money platforms at my new firm.
