You're right, the Registered Rep Broker Report Card 2006 will appear in the December issue of Registered Rep...

EDJ once again finishes in first place.  Anyone with even an ounce of objectivity would know that it would be impractical and impossible for any firm to finish in first place for 14 straight years in any balanced survey. If anything it makes Registered Rep look like crap in terms of objectivity & fairness.

Here are things to consider...

- EDJ reps are largely "first-timers" within the industry that have no basis of comparison as it relates to other BDs.

-Virtually any other BD have a significant amount of other advisors that havecome from some other platform, thus having another company with which to compare their present employer. 

I think these surveys are garbage and don't mean a thing...but, I'm glad that they keep you warm and cozy at night, Butkus.

Things tend to happen like that in a cult atmosphere.  The brainwashed ones happily fill out their surveys with top marks while the GP’s pick their pockets.  The one’s who see the light realize that the best thing they can do for themselves and their families is to LEAVE!!!
