I'm an entrepreneur working on a new idea to collect, organize and monitor investment articles and information.  I like to think of it as an "investment notebook" because it helps you stay organized without having to print, bookmark or save information that you want to keep.  Its specifically designed for investment information - such as identifying and indexing security tickers, industry groups and geographic regions for you.

I'm very interested if this would be helpful to financial advisors so I've included below a special registration code for any of you that would like to try it out.   Site:  www.impactoven.com Registration Code: registeredrep   Thank you for your time in reading my post :)   Sincerely, John   John Lohavichan [email protected] Founder - ImpactOven

I’ll give it a shot and let you know what I think.

  Thanks

Kudos for effort, John, but do you really want to compete against the plethora of well funded and well-established competition you are up against with this?  Not just premium information aggregators like Bloomberg, Dow Jones, WSJ, Morningstar, etc. but even the free services offered by giants like Yahoo or  Google?  It’s not simply a matter of having a good idea or service - you must be perceived as being good relative to your competition, and that’s some stiff competition you’re taking on there.

You must be much braver than me.  Or maybe courage may turn out to be the least of your worries.

Good luck.
