After using Index Cards, Bill Good, Telemagic, Act, and Salesforce in that order for at least 3 years each, I just switched to ZOHO CRM.

It’s almost the same layout as salesforce, and fully customizable and I like it the best.

The 1st 3 users are totally free.
Their document suite is extremely good too.
