Well then why are you asking us?

Maybe you should go back and re-read!

I might not have a life, but I have a series 7.

You are on the wrong site.  And you asked a stupid question.  Don't be surprised at the answers you are getting.

See, we have practices and we devote our careers to this.  It is serious to us, not something we would do part time or on the side.

So, your question is insulting to us.  And maybe you did not mean to insult us.

I just thought you might like an explanation for the abuse you will get.

Fatcar - are you actually trying to lay out a case to enter this business as a producer, and keep your client base to under twenty-five (not to mention doing this without a license)?  Doesn't that strike you as a bit unusual?

And - ketchup on meatloaf?  Sounds like a scandanavian hotdish.

Meatloaf recipe #1 - 1 pound ground beef and 1 pound italian sausage, 3 cloves crushed garlic, 1 minced onion, 1/2 minced green pepper.  Mix all together.  Wrap in bacon (thick sliced), put in a baking dish.  Top with hot sauce!  Serve with 'chilled' merlot.

People have been tough on you with this question.  It's good to see!

I'm guessing that you don't have no idea as to why people are being so tough on you.   I'll give you a hint.  Once you figure out what the Series 7 allows you to do, you'll understand why your question is nonsensical.

P.S. You are correct that you can advise 25 people or less without your series 7.  You can also advise more than 25 people without it.  You can even advise exactly 25 people without it.

That’s the most useful thing in this thread so far.

Back to the topic, I give people financial advice all the time, and I don’t have my 7 yet.  I don’t charge them though.  And they’re the ones who actually put in the trade orders for their accounts.

Once I actually do this as a profession, though, I’ll get the 7.

Trapper SS,  Your post is as nonsensical as the original poster.
