Windy and Ron 14

OK kids, enough is enough. You two sound like a couple of girls (no offense to girls).
The Windy threads were funny for a little while, and Ron's constant negativity is not funny enough to be worth reading. Bottom line, you guys are now just taking up space. So unless you can bring some actual amusement to the board, rather than just verbal spitballs (actually, adults literally hitting each other with spitballs would be funny), take the drivel either to PM's or your own little thread the everyone else can ignore. You’re right. Except that it wasn’t directed at a person or a firm. I was referring to the market.
This thread was talking about the constant negativity towards Windy and Jones in general. I'm all for people posting bullish or bearish views of the market. Negativity would have been me posting a picture of Ron14 with the title "Scary".I have only ripped Jones and Windy. I have also defended Jones, but you are a selective reader. You can defend Windy all you want and you better because he is on pace to become an LP before you. Maybe I will just change my screen name like Haaic/Alice Cooper. Would that be ok with you, Sir ?
Not a selective reader, I just don’t read all your posts. I don’t defend Windy, it’s just getting old. And you can do it all you want - Windy’s a big boy (and I could care less actually) - just don’t hijack every normal thread and turn it into a Windy bash so we have to wade through the crap to get back on topic (or actually read something funny ).
Not a selective reader, you just don’t read all of my posts ? Doesn’t that define selective ? You could care less if I rip Windy ? It doesn’t seem that way. These “serious threads” I hijack, are you referring to the 57 threads a day about starting at Jones ? Give me a break.
Ron, I agree. I don’t know where these guys are coming out of the woodwork from, all of a sudden.
No, I am not a selective reader with regards to YOUR posts. I am selective about the posts I read in general. The world don't revolve around Ron 14. And no, I don't care if you rip Windy. At all. Just don't hijack perfectly good threads to go on for three pages with Windy. And for the record, the original post was aimed at both of you, not just you. I think you have your tights in a wad now.B24 -I know exactly where all of these guys are coming from. You are annoyed at my ripping on Windy and so am I because it is a waste of time. Gaddock doesn't believe I was an options trader for almost 10 years and wants to fight with me because I don't agree with discretionary options trading with clients retirement money. Spiff is pissed because I called him out for making comments about a guy who left Jones.
Wow, somebody is officially owned.
I was referring to the "57 threads a day about starting at Jones ". For the past month, like 2 "new" posters a day have inquired about Jones. It's complete nonsense. I've been on here for like 3 years, and there are more newbies in the past 30 days than in the past 3 years. And they are all completely bogus stories. Either that or this site attracts some major losers (uh oh!), because the people claiming to be interviewing with Jones certainly don't work in my region.
Wow, somebody is officially owned.

Depends, did Ron and his bank buddy slam her life savings into an annuity like they did everyone else that would let them?
Actually, I don't have the patience or desire to know (or care) who is posing. I just think it's stupid. We have like 65 FA's in my region, and I knew most of them pretty well by now. I could count on one hand the number of "recent college grads" that we have hired. The vast majority of them are between the ages of 35 and 55. And the only one that I know of that is under 26 is actually doing quite well. Even most of the "newbies" are 2nd-career people or transfer brokers. And almost none of them are starting from scratch. None are working out of their houses.
<-- working out of home and hating it. Starting from scratch also but don’t care about that so much.
Wind - This is a serious question. Does the legacy last until you get an office or do you have to stay for a certain period of time ?
