Weekend Prospecting?

Has anyone had success prospecting on Sundays? Understandably the practice is unorthodox and maybe even too aggressive, but I can’t help but think it could be successful. Would it be unrealistic to think that if done right you could likely reach double the amount of prospects on one Sunday, then a normal weekday? Food for thought…I no its a ridiculous idea…People don’t want to be bothered on their day off but still…I can’t help but wonder.
People never want to be bothered. Don’t let that stop you. You’ll have plenty of success on a Sunday. You’ll also get people mad at you. We get paid for our successes. We don’t lose pay based upon mad people.
I’d not prospect a small town I live in on Sunday however I might call a different state. Are you door knocking or cold calling? Think it makes a difference.
Can’t you just bust it out on Saturday and leave people alone on Sunday?
Good point. If you live in a small town you don't want to get the reputation as the guy that bothers people on the holy day. If you call out of towners though, they'll never see you so who cares.I’d not prospect a small town I live in on Sunday however I might call a different state. Are you door knocking or cold calling? Weekends? Why not?
I tried weekends and had great success. However, after putting in 70 plus hours Monday thru friday i decided i didn't want to work the weekends. Not working the weekends slowed my growth but, for me, a personal choice to try to get some balance in my life. As for Sunday? Again, why not? The point made about having nothing to lose is a good one. Unless you live in an area governed by restrictive blue laws then go for it. If the local Wal-Mart is open and busy on Sunday the only ones you are going to offend are the hypocrits. People not wanting to be bothered at home? That would be every day of the weekSunday? Dude, take a break. If you’ve got 70 hours in by Saturday evening, either (assuming you’re single) have a beer in front of the TV, or (assuming you have a family) pretend to care about them and spend some time with little Timmy.
Maybe he should change the topic to…
If I can't make it in 70 hours a week can I make it in 80? Be careful not to burn yourself out!
