Has anyone ever used their material?

Jan 7, 2010 12:48 am

yep, used it for the 7 last month and using it right now for the 66.  It is head and shoulders above STC.  I even took the crash course from Tina (the owner) the second week of December in Orange County…best investment ever!  For the 66, I am using her lecture and workbook materials.  So far, almost as good as her in person series.  If you can’t tell, I really reccomend her programs!  And to top it off, she is a wonderful person.

Guess you passed the series 7? I heard that its a really great service to use when taking the series 7, 65, and 66. What did you get on the series 7? What helped you the most the software, book, or course?

Although I was stressed out big time about the 7…I did pass with an 84%.  The live course was priceless, it is 9 hours a day for a week straight of exactly what you need to know to pass the exam.  After you finish the course, she emails you a checkpoint test to see where you are, if you get the green light from the test…then it’s time to go take the real deal.  If you can, take the course!  I am taking the online lectures right now for the 66 and I find that they are very good as well, but it’s just a matter of finding a quite place with no distractions to study and listen to the online stuff.  I think Tina’s service is so good, because she was for a number of years part of the committee that actually writes that options portion of the exam.  I think she has an “in” with the test writers, because a lot of the exam questions very were similar to her practice questions.  FWIW, just my take.  Also, it seemed that the other 35 or so people in the class appreciated the course as well.  Good luck!

It is excellent. I highly recommend it. I just passed with a 92% using it and got done with both sections with over 100 minutes left on each.

I talked to a number of people.  They said it sucked.

Jan 7, 2010 7:13 pm

I heard terrible things about them.  And their sales people…

Jan 7, 2010 7:21 pm

I heard their sales people do a kind of “word of mouth” advertising by pretending to be people who use the system.

But what I really heard was that that system causes people to actually get dumber when they use it.  So, whereas they might have gotten a 70 without using it, they receive a 30 instead.

You know, if salespeople wouldn't talk like salespeople, they might sell more stuff.  Otherwise, we just feel like we're getting sold a sham-wow with a lot of "client testimonials".

“I think she has an “in” with the test writers, because a lot of the exam questions very were similar to her practice questions.” Can anyone confirm? Then what service should I use for the series 7? Kaplan, STC, PassPerfect, Trainingconsultants?

She is blowing the test writers.  However, because she is not good, her product is crap.

LMAO....I would not doubt it... Let me rephrase my question. If you used their material for the series 7 did you pass?

It is probably the best course out there right now. She use to be the writer for some of the questions.

I think that the key to passing all of these types of tests is to use one company’s material to study, but take practice tests from two providers.

I will use Kaplan and trainingconsultants.net. Thank you for the input fellas.

TIna is the best. I loved her course, much better than STC-I read the STC material and Kaplan, but then purchased the online training consultants program. She really focuses on approaches to the test and strategies to answer questions- e.g. "every time you get an options question, step one, draw this chart…etc.

I blew thru it in about a week and passed the 7 with an 86.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND
