I’ve been working through the Training Consultants web based series 66 training program and I must say, compared to the 7, the material is a whole other anaimal. The material and test questions are written by attorneys so I have to get into a different mindset than that of the 7. I’m begining to hear Tina Leahy’s voice in my sleep now! lol  “banks…banks…banks…” (anyone who’s done the TC 66 program understands the banks joke)    i.e. newer EDJ people.

Is this the online course you’re using? did you also use Training Consultants to prepare for the series 7?  If so did you pass and what tips can you give me for the test? Appreciate any feedback you can give me.

The training consultants system is what my firm has its trainees do for obtaining the series 66. For the series 7 I went through a program that my firm had developed on its own but also studied from other sources. I personally read through the Series 7 for dummies book first and then went through the Kaplan Financial book after. I completed those books before I was hired by my company so when I actually undertook the official series 7 training most everything was easy review. However, the program offered by the company would have easily have been enough but I just wanted to make sure by learning on my own beforehand.<?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

Wait until you get to the test questions and all it ask is “What are Blue Sky Laws”, but the question is about 15 sentences long and you fall asleep before you’re done reading it.
