this has probably been talked about a lot, but I couldnt find it posted. i am thinking of leaving edward jones and wanted to know if when you request copies of the paperwork you signed when you were hired if that raised any flags at the home office or if they give you a hard time about it. my new firm would like me to provide a copy of the training agreement and nonsolicit agreements. thanks for your help.
You’re kidding right? Of course it will raise red flags. You should already have had a copy of it. Good luck!
Are you failing, like Ron 14?this has probably been talked about a lot, but I couldnt find it posted. i am thinking of leaving edward jones and wanted to know if when you request copies of the paperwork you signed when you were hired if that raised any flags at the home office or if they give you a hard time about it. my new firm would like me to provide a copy of the training agreement and nonsolicit agreements. thanks for your help.
Think,
When I moved from one office to my current office, I lost some files, one of which had my own personal file, including my contract and other benefit stuff. I think it got stuffed in teh trash somehow. Anyway, point is, when I could njot find it, I called HR, and they sent me a copy of my file. No questions. Maybe it did or didn't raise flags - I have no idea. Bottom line, what are they going to do, fire you for requesting your file? There's not much they can do, even if you end up leaving. Just call and ask for your entire file - tell them you lost it.B24 is correct! I left Jones more than 2 years ago and after 14 years there. When I had 5 years with the firm I requested a copy and nothing was said there or at the RL office! Besides a lot more people think about leaving than do leave!
I bow to the greater knowledge! Request your contract - Hang on to the new one you get!
I called about 2 months before I left, I wasn’t fired as Hack likes to say, and I wasn’t questioned about it. They will fax it to you in a day or 2.
