I'm trying to figure out which vendor to go through formy study materials. Anyone have suggestions on which is the "best" one to purchase? I've heard that the actual Series 66 exam is tricky and want to get practice exams as similar to the real thing as possible.

Anyone taken the review class for the Series 66? Just wondering what your thoughts on that is also.

Try  looking at a couple of the other active threads on this topic…many answers are there.<!–

The 66 is tricky.  I used Pass Perfect and did just fine.

Take you time and read the questions.  Don't change ANY answers unless you are sure you are right.

Thanks for the tip. Did you find that the practice exams on the Pass Perfect were just as tricky as the actual exam? My friend used STC and said the practice exams weren't tricky like the actual exam.

Did you use the study manual too? I only bought the databank since I have already read the book from STC.

I passed my Series 66 today on my first time. I used Dearborn, which is now Kaplan materials and I thought it worked out pretty well, considering it worked for me. There was an actual question from the practice exam that was on the test. Do a lot of practice exam. It helps. If you need the cd, let me know.

How does that cd work? A friend of mine let me borrow the final exams (100 questions, 5 exams total). Is that covered in the cd? I bought the Pass Perfect cd since I wasn't sure.

Thanks!!

Well the cd is like the final exams you have, except at the end, during the scoring, it summarizes how many you missed from what sections of the book. Also, there are test bank questions from every chapter as well. That way if you aren’t doing too well in a certain area, you can do more questions, focusing on a particular subject. I personally think that doing practice questions really helps a lot more than trying to read the book over and over again. Good luck!
