Source for Call Lists

This is my first post so please forgive me if it does not look ok. I am a new rep, and I was wondering where you all get phone numbers to call. Searching the forums yesterday I ran across the “500 Day War” post, and found it incredibly insightful and motivating. I love the idea of hitting the phones hard daily but I am not sure who to call. Is there lists of phone numbers available and if so from where? Any help is greatly appreciated.
Just remember, your best list is the one no one else has. That being said, it is very difficult to do that. You can make your own lists by doing neighborhood searches on whitepages.com or through the Coles directory, you can buy lists from lead brokers, search business directories, etc. You may want to figure out who you want to target before you go looking for lists. Do you want business numbers? Residential numbers?
Thanks for the response. I would like a list of residential numbers. It is obvious to me how green I am, because beyond that I am not really sure what I am looking for. I will spend some time looking at Coles directory. Looking at the aforementioned “500 Day War” post it looks to me like I would benefit most from a list of people that own whatever product I want to call on (individual stocks, bonds or mutual funds for example). I am not sure if such a list exists and if it does how accurate is. However, you have given me a few different places to start looking, much thanks!
Source for Call Lists…
Hi, I'm Saul4paul. Iam not a FA, but I used to sell vaccumes. Don't worry about who to call, just get out and meet folks! That is how you get the list that no one else has. You might want to put your FA job on hold and sell vacs door to door for a number of years until you have a good size list. People like Snaggle mean well, but they just arent well rounded and are out of place in the real salesmans world. PS Have you heard of Ron Paul?
Source for Call Lists…

I can't decide what I'd rather sell, Dyson, Eureeka, or Hoover? What do you think saulypauly? The list is not important. The important thing is to make the calls and do the work. I made a lot of calls out of the phone book, received some good clients from this. Make sure you check their number against Do Not Call registry
Saul,
Ron Paul… He sells Hoovers right? I think I saw his book “Rich Parents, Poor Children” on the Chicago Times non-seller list. I appreciate your response though. I am genuinely concerned about being able to meet enough people going door to door. I guess it’s free to try though right? By the way I support your political cause.
Snaggle,
Go with Hoovers. If Ron Paul does it, than it is best.
Henry,
Thanks for your response. I read the “500 Day War” last night and was very pumped about calling right out of the book. Then my wife brought up the DNC list. The thing I liked best about the whole idea of calling from the book was that it seemed very simple. Scrubbing it against the list seems to take that away. Is there an efficient way to do this?
Hi,
I'm Saul4paul again. Read about Ron Paul here... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ron_PaulIt's called free speech, Ron Paul talks alot about it, heard of him? You must be a nerd, I'm not saying your a nerd, I'm just saying.Jesus. How long is it going to take for Saul to get sent to the troll house?
porta,
At our firm, EDJ, we can just type the number in and see if it is on the list. If you are working for a major firm, they probably have something similar. How deep in the dork forest do you have to live to pump up Ron Paul on non-political websites when he has ZERO change of going anywhere in this election?
You know what, I think the lunatics that support Ron Paul were the worst thing to happen to his campaign.
The only Ron Paul supporters/rallies I ever see are fruitcake losers. If you really want to help Ron Paul, STFU and cast your vote quietly.
Hi, I'm Saul4paul, Ice , are you really that unhappy that you have to call others lunatics? Ron Paul supporters have fun, here's a song just for you... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v6A7Iggebm4&feature=related
Spacedout.... Are you going to be at the Ron Paul Freedon Rally in Washing DC on July 12th?? All are welcome! Lunitics and all!I’m sure both of you really enjoyed that song.
Porta,
At AGE/Wachovia we have a list of pre approved vendors that we can purchase from. You can go out and find your own as well. They also have a list of problem vendors. Whoever you work for should provide some guidance.
