Quality of Back Office Support for payout… Say payout is 70%… what would you expect for support and training from your company? What do they provide you for the 30%?

Training?

Software?

Backoffice Support?

Research?

Compliance?

I am an independent and feel that I am getting minimum to no support or training for the 30% the company takes off the top. Would like to know what to expect…

Thanks…

That seems to be a low payout for an indy.  We need to know more to be able to help you.

Are you an OSJ?

Do you pay all your own office expenses?

What is your trailing 12?

FWIW I am with LPL, and their payout STARTS at 72% on general securities business, and starts at 90% for mutual funds, UIT’s, and advisory business.  I’m sure I’ve forgotten something.  They provide pretty decent support on all the areas you mentioned above.

If you're independent, you shouldn't need training. Go look up the word "independent" in the dictionary.
