One thing you may want to consider prior to moving is that due to the recent collapses within the subprime mortgage lenders there is now huge influx of mortgage brokers seeking employment in Los Angeles and Orange County. Many of which are headed for financial services. This will create a much more competitive job market that will allow firms to be even more selective. I am not suggesting that it would be impossible but it will definitely be more difficult. Just something to consider.
