I was formerly an Ameriprise Advisor ten years ago.  Since then I have managed non-profits and music venues.  I am no longer licensed, but I am considering a return to advising.  Merrill Lynch seems to be the only option in my town.  What is the daily schedule?  At Ameriprise, I worked M-F 9-9 and S 9-12.  Will I be a CFP upon completing of the PMD or will I need to obtain the certificate in my spare time, if there is any?  Is the program easier if I get licensed before applying?
