If you display the same level of literacy in your business plan (not to mention real client interaction) as you did in the above post, you might want to start practicing saying "Do you want fries with that?"

(Sorry Joe...stole your line...)

Also, how do you get (insert space here) paid on commisions? Does Merrill Lynch take a fee and give a percentage to you? Could someone give me an example?
Thanks.[/quote]

How's this for a good idea...you really need to learn the English language to have a fighting chance in this business, so why not take another shot at grammar school?  I can't imagine you finding $15 million among your friends, particularly if they have the same literary skills as you.  Sorry, but I don't think you're cut out for this job and I'm having a hard time figuring out how you got the second interview with Merrill Lynch.

Indy, maybe he hangs out with Paris Hilton and Chamillionaire?

That movie is getting good reviews, although it appears to be crass as all getup.  Is this a movie the Mrs. would like?

It would depend.  From what I hear, they are not shy in poking fun at other cultures and practices.  It seems as though the humor is pretty cerebral, despite it's bluntness.

I'm looking forward to it.  If anyone saw the beginning of SNL this past weekend, that should give you an idea s to the direction of the film.

To do that you must first learn to write…good luck.  Your local community college probably has some good ESL programs.

Are you guys f**king stupid or something? I ask a question and do not get any real answers. How about you guys grow up and act your age! Can any one reply with a straight up answer?

That's interesting - I heard others talking about the "smarts" factor in that the humor, even though it appears to appeal, at first, to the lowest common demoninator.  I think I'll take the Missus to see it next weekend.

No, actually, we’re suggesting it is you who are “f*cking stupid”.  Pay attention!

It’s interesting to see how your writing approves when you’re annoyed.  I suggest you work yourself up into a tizzy just before you sit down to write your business plan, and then maybe you’ll have a shot at producing something decent.

I'm sure Devil's Avocado is cracking up at his keyboard as he reads this thread.

Warnham, this forum isn't IM-your-buddies type stuff.  Your spelling and syntax was so poor on your first post that it was difficult to read.  Frankly, you looked illiterate and/or just plain lazy.  DA has complained many times about the ignorance and sloth shown in posts on this forum, and while I think he's pretty harsh at times, I agree with a lot of what he's saying in this regard.  A little fun from time to time is fine, but when you're posting to ask for professional assistance, you should try to show a little professionalism yourself.  This business has a way of chewing up and spitting out those who can't express themselves intelligently.  Heck, it chews up a lot of folks who CAN express themselves.  Very few of us not named Rockefeller or Vanderbuilt are entitled to a six or seven-figure income.  It's hard work...and you need to act like it.

...and enough of the whining that you..."ask a question and do not get any real answers."  If you want help with your homework, asking a literate question is a good start.  If nothing else, by pissing you off, at least we helped you improve your grammar, if not your "f***ing" language...

Yah that was pretty bad, and it's what happens when I rush.  Then again, it wasn't as bad as the post that started this thread....
