BTW, U 5 mailed in a week or two???  I didn't get mine for six weeks!  Now , two years later, they have amended it.  I worked for Wachovia-never worked for Wells Fargo, but Wells has put a ding on my U5 as well.  How can someone I NEVER worked for put something on my U5?

401kqueen. Welcome to the board, and thank you for your valuable thoughts/opinions. Sounds like you been through the ringer, and lived to tell about it. My kind of folk...as I've been there, done that too...

Signing someone else's name is the ONE thing that you can never do. I hope that kid got a lawyer to work on CONTINGENCY and go after the firm. Good recession work, if you can get it. This is about employment law, not securities law, in my unlicensed, unsolicited, anonymous and unqualified legal opinion.

He hit the wrong button on a computer, for Pete's sake.

Consult your attorney. Screw you, this is still America. I had two times in my RR career that I had to write stuff up for compliance. The first time, an experienced rep showed me how to fight. You need to fight for everything, that's America.

Make the lawyer work for his money, or escalate the issue yourself slowly. Running to the next firm after being fired with a dinged record, , or running away from the industry, is not common sense.

Cowering like a wet rat is not an option, even if you have to drive a truck while you feed your family and get this thing resolved.
